Because of our impurities, our weaknesses and especially our sin, we have no way of enjoying the perfect life in eternity that you have created without excepting our Lord and Savior through obedience. Oh God, allow us, in our imperfect state, to accept your plan for our life and desire to follow your will. Thank you for your grace that washes away all our sins and makes us white as snow so that we can enjoy that eternity someday in heaven.
Oh God, continue to show us your will in our life and our acceptance of all of those indications of how you want us to live our life and allow your spirit to dwell in our soul to reject Satan‘s desire to control our life. Help us, oh Lord, too run from those thoughts that come through our mind that are not your ways but to always lean upon you for guidance.
May the peace that passes all understanding dwell in us richly so that by having peace with you, that your spirit will control our life, and our desire to follow you, and your wondrous grace, through our actions and our deeds will please you each and every day of our life. Oh God, thank you for your grace that we don’t deserve but that comes through the gift of your son to us by his death on the cross and our acceptance of Jesus as our Savior. May we except that grace in the way it was intended for our life and allow you to control our life and please you.
