Don’t worry about tomorrow…

Today is here and it is gone tomorrow. Things that we worry about today I’ll either be dealt with today, they will dissipate, or we will have them on our to do list tomorrow. However, it seems that when I look at my to do list today, I’m worried more about clearing things off of my list in such a worrisome way that it drains The energy from my soul. Why do I allow my energy to be stepped away bye these problems that, in the big picture, usually don’t mean anything at all. How can I focus my energy on allowing God to guide my ways and to have the joy in my heart of the grace that he has given me that gives me eternal life regardless of today’s problems.

In the big picture of things, our daily worries are generally things that just drag us down, keep us from enjoying life, And don’t really I have an impact on what really is going to happen today.

Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Let’s try our best to not allow the things of the this life that seem so big and so difficult to give us so much heartache but allow us to have an understanding of the big picture of life and the grace we have from our God and our Lord and Savior.

Jesus asked, “Can all of your worries add a single moment to your life?” (Matthew 6:27). It was a question from the greatest teacher who ever walked the earth. Think about all that we worry about, all that we focus, and all that we fear. Now, slide it behind the lens of hope.

WORRY says nothing will ever work out for me. HOPE says God will provide all I need.

WORRY says I will not have enough money.

HOPE says God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

WORRY says I can’t provide for my kids.

HOPE says God will provide everything that my kids need because He cares!

Hope encourages and enables us to keep going knowing that God loves us, He is with us, and He is for us! I am so grateful for hope. Without hope there is no reason to wake up in the morning, or to develop dreams for your life. Hope is the antidote to the virus of worry!
