We are constantly bombarded every single day with things that distract us off of our focus or goals. We see it as we walked on the streets, we see it when we listen to the radio, we see it when we are watching TV, and we see it even when we’re in groups of friends and acquaintances.
But, what is your focus? That is what we have to think about on a daily basis. Our focus is either on serving our Lord, or not serving our Lord.
Have you ever thought about the things that cloud your mind and take away precious time on the goals you are trying to achieve? These distractions keep us from accomplishing those goals. I can’t keep from thinking about the things that somehow make their way into my mind even when I am in prayer to my guide for when I am trying to study the Lords word. Somehow and for some reason I find my mind wandering off on other things that keep me away from my focus. Why can’t I take the intensity of trying to keep my mind focused on the Lord’s word in the Lords work?
